It is also considered as a superfood, and also a full pack of protein and fiber with low-calorie content. These are high in soluble fiber, fiber which absorbs liquids and promotes the feeling of fullness in the stomach. When you add one or two serves of chia seeds in your diet, it helps in reducing your appetite and curb cravings.
While plain water contains zero calories, most of the herbal teas for example blue tea and carbonated waters have no to very few calories and black coffee has 2 calories per cup. |
But keep in mind that these benefits are attached with air-popped popcorns and not with those ready-made varieties which have a lot of unhealthy fats, artificial flavorings and added salt or sugar which increase the calorie content in them. |
